Finding a need for high quality petroleum products that weren’t readily available in New Zealand, Chris decided to take matters into his own hands and import crucial products to support the petroleum industry. This pioneering spirit was the foundation upon which PES built its legacy.
Over the years, PES’s reputation for delivering high-quality services and products in a timely manner to the petroleum sector has spread nationwide and also into the pacific islands. PES has now become the leading end-to-end supplier of equipment for the service station network across the country.
Today, PES employs eight dedicated professionals, and although the business has changed owners and leadership, Chris’ legacy continues through his two sons who are still part of a great team all sharing a common commitment to excellence.
With three decades of success, PES is well-equipped to face the future’s challenges and opportunities. The company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction remains unwavering. PES is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing demands of the petroleum industry while maintaining a keen focus on environmental sustainability. Part of that evolution includes investing in future energies such as hydrogen as an active member of the hydrogen association, working with industry leaders in developing a sustainable hydrogen network for New Zealand. PES is also looking into the viability of supporting the EV network.
